Chuck on a drunk spell.

Nothing major to report here. Chucks drinking is really getting out of hand. The only bright spot is that he usually doesn't drive when he is in this condition. Usually.

So what is Chuck up too these days.

As you can tell, I have really been neglecting this blog. Since I have recently found that new visitors have still been finding this blog, I thought that I would just check in with a Chuck Update.

He is doing just fine. The pit bulls and their owners are gone.(VERY long story that I may tell sometime when I can gather all the thoughts and circumstances and have the time to type for a while)

He is still an inside dog. He has a really bad habit of chasing cars and so that is the reason that he remains an inside dog. I would really like to let him run again since that is what he was used to before he was attacked by the Pit Bulls, but people are not used to him chasing them anymore and I am afraid that he would just dart out in front someone who wasn't on the lookout for him like they used to be.

Anyway, here are some photos of Chuck for you.

I put my shoes on him so he knows that we are about to go for a walk.

He almost gets up to go.

Nah, I think I'll skip the walk and just go back to sleep. What a tough decision.

That is what Chuck is up to.

All the woods are gone

I took Chuck into where the woods used to be.

Right across the street from us was nothing but big, old, beautiful trees. Giant Oaks, Hickory trees, Pine trees and lots of others. Those woods are a big part of the reason that we decided to live here. Now they are all gone to make way for new houses. Hopefully there won't be too many and they will have large lots like the builder says they will. It's supposed to be big enough for whoever buys them to have horses and stuff. We'll see.

Anyway, Chuck was quite curious about what was going on and wanted to go down into the valley to check it out. We found a lot of deer tracks in the dirt so I guess they were wondering what was going on too. We got a lot of exercise that day though because after we went there, we went to the rest of the woods so Chuck could chase squirrels.
